Reign of Amaziah

25 Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. ² He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a true heart. ³ As soon as the royal power was firmly in his hand he killed his servants who had murdered his father the king.
